PMI LIM 2016 – EMEA
The PMI® Leadership Institute Meeting 2016—EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa – EMEA LIM) took place 6-8 May 2016 at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.
It was a very successful event with more than 300 participants from 81 Chapters, representing 69 countries.
PMI-Greece was represented by:

Participation in PMI LI Meeting is a valuable experience that provides awareness of other chapters’ best practices, connections with PMI Advisory Groups and networking with other PMI volunteer leaders.
Latest news about PMI Global initiatives and PMI Tools and Resources that can assist in managing of a chapter are shared.
The event provides great networking opportunities; meeting and exchanging views with other chapter members, enhances the ability of global understanding, of getting the big picture and of preparing the ground for upcoming collaborations and information sharing.
All presentations, round table discussions and workshops were focusing on topics that support the PMI culture and beliefs:
- Project Management impact
- Professionalism
- Volunteerism
- Community
- Engagement
Additionally, R8 chapter mentors made it clear that extroversion, offering benefits to members, connection with Universities and Companies are some of the most important focus areas for 2016.
Next important PMI event will be the 2016 PMI Region 8 Meeting that will be held in Athens from 21 to 23 October 2016. It is very much anticipated by the community and PMI-Greece continues the preparation activities with enthusiasm and dedication.
