Adoption of Agile across Europe, 2019 edition
A lot has been written about the Agile practice, worldwide as well as in Europe. As a result, Agile practices are experiencing a growing interest during the last years and many organizations have started to adopt them to take advantage of the benefits that they can offer to them as a whole. Unknown to date, however, is how well Agile is integrated within companies around the world and especially in Europe. The purpose of this presentation is to uncover, in a good extent, the degree of adoption of Agile in three countries (namely Luxembourg, Croatia and Poland) that participated in the Agile research project run in 2019 as a common initiative by PMI European Chapters Collaboration.

The Swedish Project Review 2018: Embracing Agility
The Swedish Project Review is Sweden’s leading index on project related capabilities. In collaboration between KPMG Project Advisory and PMI Sweden Chapter, it provides industry specific benchmarks, points out trends and areas for improvement. Organizational change and agility is an increasingly important topic on the agenda for many organizations. This year’s insights and trends were based on more than 400 respondents as well as several interviews from senior executives from different sectors and industries. The key take-aways are insights on strengths, weaknesses and trends in regards to project-related capabilities with a focus on organizational agility.

Holds a MSc in Total Quality Management, Bachelor Degree in Physics, certified Professional SRCUM Master I, ITIL, CMMI for SW Dev, PMP, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1. Extensive experience on PRINCE2, OUM, RUP, PM2, PM2@Agile, Agile@EC, ISO 22301, Root Cause Analysis techniques, CobIT.
Having worked, for over two decades, in many diverse industries (from tourism to telecommunications) and in various different positions (from team expert to consultant, project coordinator and functional manager), Nassos Karageorgiadis can safely claim to understand in depth what is behind widespread terms like Business Excellence, Change Management, Business Process Reengineering, Business Analysis and Project Management. Since 2015, he works and resides in Luxembourg, as Intrasoft International entrusted him the role of Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst for a series of projects undertaken in the European Parliament. His passion for volunteering led him to get actively involved with the PMI Luxembourg Chapter to which he serves as Director of Marketing & Communication since 2018. He has also leaded several initiatives, including the PMI European Chapters Collaboration project on Agile implementation around Europe research project. Nassos is a graduate of the Production Engineering & Management Department of the Technical University of Crete, holding also a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Deree College and a Master’s of Science in Marketing and Communications from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from IIBA and (PMI-PBA) from PMI, a Certified ARIS Business Modeller, a Certified Assessor & Validator of EFQM and a Certified Trainer-Coach in Leadership and Emotional Intelligence of Dale Carnegie Training.
Konstantinos voluntarily serves PMI Sweden Chapter, acting as the Director of Research. His main contribution within the Chapter has been the establishment and development of the Swedish Project Review (SPR), Sweden’s leading index on project related capabilities. Konstantinos comes with a solid experience in executive management roles, specialized in organizational change and the development of competence centers, with significant exposure in mergers and acquisitions. He currently works as the CIO for Atea Logistics, the leading distributor and service provider in the Nordic region within IT infrastructure. In the past, he served as the COO for Bihr Nordic, IT Manager for Delhaize Group, as well as the Global Head of IT for BB Energy Group. He is the proud owner of the International MBA from AUEB, a Bachelor in Computer Science from the Hellenic Open University and the PMP certification from PMI. Based in Växjö, Sweden, he enjoys the Nordic lifestyle & nature with his wife and dog. Ice hockey (watching, not playing!) and padel (playing, not watching!) are his latest interests.
